Garment Developer / Technical Designer:

Job Summary

Garment Developer / Technical Designer will be responsible for the design and accuracy of the fit and construction of the collection.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Verify samples before fitting and correct garment after fitting
• Maintain accurate product size/fit specifications
• Ensure all appropriate documentation is maintained and is consistent with bill of Materials for the collection
• Ensure accuracy and timely updating of Size Specification sheets
• Ensure Technical Drawings are complete and accurate
• Facilitate problem solving and address issues in a timely manner
• Ensure that stated seasonal goals of on-time delivery and quality goals are met

Required Skills :

• Ability to correct fit issues  and communicate changes to the factories through excel and illustrator
• Experience with overseas production  
• Self – motivated, energetic & passionate
• Thorough knowledge of industry standard garment construction techniques
• Must be a team player

Fashion Design Assistant:

• Strong computer skills
• Meticulous eye for detail
• Working knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop
• Excellent color sense and color mixing skills in print and pattern development
• Strong fashion sense and a passion for the industry
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Degree or Diploma in fashion design & technology
